The idea of our design is to create a massive element from which light emerges. It represents Le Corbusier´s idea “Architecture is the learned game, correct and magnificent, of forms assembled in the light”. The way Le Corbusier used concrete and light is the departing point from where this design came about to be.

A massive volume irradiating light. Conceptualized by different study models and selected one that had gaps and wedges on it a hollow center and a sturdy exterior. Further developments lead to thefinal design. Once the design is finalized the formwork is constructed. Various casts were experimented to understand the way formwork works and to explore textures and cantilevered elements.
